Pompeii: The Exhibition

POMPEII: The Exhibition, currently at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) – its only scheduled stop in Texas –tells the story of the city buried in ash and volcanic debris when Mount Vesuvius erupted some 2,000 years ago. The exhibition features over 150 artifacts on loan from the collection of the Naples National Archaeological Museum, including frescoes, mosaics, and statues from the site. Also included in the exhibition is a simulated 4D eruption theater that allows visitors to experience the deathly impact Mount Vesuvius had on this ancient city. Ticket prices are $30 for adults (ages 12+); $21 for children (ages 3-11). Online ticket purchasing is available for the exhibit. Concierge pricing (saves $10 per adult ticket) is available when you download and print our corporate discount coupon (use the password dino) and purchase tickets in-person at the Corporate/Members box office window (usually the shortest line). Only one member of your party should stand in line. HMNS Safety Protocols are in place including limited daily capacity and requiring face masks for all guests over the age of 10.
