Unwrap Houston Downtown & Explore Winter Wanderland

Holidays are officially underway in Downtown Houston.

New this year is the stunning holiday décor on the newly transformed Bagby Street called Winter Wanderland. They officially “turned on the lights” this past Friday

The HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade is back this year. It rolls at 9 am Thursday morning through Downtown (attached is the parade route). And the day after on Black Friday is the 2nd Annual Thing-A-Ma-Jingle on Main Street Block Party from 5 pm to midnight. This is a 21+ type of event to support the bars and restaurants in the Historic Market Square and Main Street neighborhoods (Rusk to Commerce and on Preston next to Market Square Park). There will be a giant night market with over 80 vendors hosted by HTX Boss Babes and State Line Designs along with other activations such as a mechanical reindeer ride, selfies with hipster Santa, art cars and much more. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Visit Downtown this season to see a show, take a twirl on the ice or jump on the band wagon and film a Tik Tok video at Winter Wanderland’s mega light tunnel across from Hobby Center
